Colon Hydrotherapy is a 45-minute session experienced in a professional, clean, and private environment, facilitated by an I-ACT certified therapist. The session consists of a gentle flow of warm water into your colon (large intestine), washing away toxins, hydrating your whole body and promoting your body’s natural peristaltic action, which facilitates the movement of wastes through your intestinal tract and colon. If you are looking to get a complete cleanse of the entire 5 1/2 – 6 feet of colon we recommend a series of 8-12 sessions and then move onto a monthly maintenance program. 

Experience the Gentle Difference

Here at Clean Touch Colonics we use the LIBBE system. The LIBBE is a FDA registered, open system device that uses a double filtration system. It is a controlled method of cleansing the colon using a gentle, gravity fed flow of water. The water is infused gently into the colon by a sterilized, disposable rectal nozzle that is about the size of a pencil. As a result, the compacted waste that has accumulated in the colon over weeks, months or years of toxic exposure is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis.

    24-48 Hours before your appointment at Clean Touch Colonics, we recommend eating as light as possible. Only consume fruits, veggies, soup broths, light salad, smoothies and lots of water. Be sure to avoid dairy, meat, bread, rice, pasta and any other hard to digest food. The least amount of solid food you consume is best. Just be sure to drink plenty of water when preparing.

  • Colonics Contraindications

    The following conditions may prevent you from participating in colon hydrotherapy. Please consult with your doctor!

    • Anal Fissure/Fistula (a tear in the colon)
    • Anemia (severe)
    • Aneurysm
    • Cardiac Disease (severe, uncontrolled hypertension or congestive heart failure)
    • Cirrhosis
    • Colitis (acute)
    • Colon Cancer
    • Colon Surgery (less than twelve months post-op requires a doctor's referral)
    • Colostomy
    • Crohn's disease (acute inflammatory or bleeding stages)
    • Intracranial Hypertension
    • Diverticulitis
    • GI Hemorrhage/Perforation (history of requires a doctors referral)Hemorrhoids (in a severely inflamed or severely bleeding stage)
    • Rectal Bleeding (other than minor hemorrhoids)
    • Hernia (abdominal/inguinal)
    • Kidney Dialysis
    • Pregnancy (up to 4 months)
    • Renal Insufficiency

 The Texas Requirements For Colon Hydrotherapy& Getting Your Prescription

Every state, province, or country has differing regulations around the profession of colon hydrotherapy. Texas requires that you must have a prescription on file with your colon hydrotherapist. You may obtain a prescription from your preferred doctor and bring it to your session or have it faxed to our office. We are pleased to have a medical director who can assist with fullfilling this requirement for all of our clients if needed. There is a fee applied when using our Medical Director.
